Interior painting where the prep takes longer than the paint

Walls, ceilings, trim and doors. Done in the order that makes a finish last.

Anyone can roll paint onto a wall. What decides whether it still looks right in five years is everything that happens before the first coat. That part takes the most time and nobody photographs it.

01

The room gets protected first

Floors covered, furniture moved to the middle and wrapped, fixtures and hardware taken off rather than taped around. Taping around a switch plate is how you get a paint ridge on the edge.

02

Walls get repaired, not covered

Nail holes filled, cracks cut out and taped, damaged drywall skimmed. Old plaster gets treated differently from drywall because it moves differently.

03

Trim gets sanded and caulked

Layered old enamel gets sanded back so the profile stays sharp. Gaps between trim and wall get caulked, which is the difference between a line that looks crisp and one that looks close enough.

04

We clean up daily

Not at the end of the job, at the end of every day. You get your house back each night.

Whole house, single room, ceilings only, or just the trim. We quote what you actually want done, not a package.
